By using the Chrome extension "Papier", you agree to the following terms of service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using the Papier extension, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the extension.

2. Service Description

Free features: Note-taking, local storage, themes, formatting
Papier Sync (paid): End-to-end encrypted cloud sync across devices

3. Papier Sync Subscription

Papier Sync costs €9 per year, billed annually via Stripe.
You can cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you have an issue.
We reserve the right to change pricing with advance notice to existing subscribers.

4. User Content

You retain all rights to the content you create. We do not claim any ownership of your notes. Your notes are encrypted and we cannot access their content.

5. Authorized Use

You agree to use Papier only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to bypass security measures, abuse the sync infrastructure, or use the service to store illegal content.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Free note-taking features work entirely offline.

7. Limitation of Liability

The extension is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or indirect damages. We recommend keeping local backups.

8. Intellectual Property

The Papier extension and its source code are protected by copyright. LA COMPAGNIE DES INTERNETS BORDELAISE retains all rights.

9. Modifications

We may update these terms, the extension, or pricing. Changes will be published on this page.

10. Termination

You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of French courts.
